Tara
Greer, a native Californian
artist believes that "Esoteric"
and
"Dreamlike" are two words that
best describe the subject matter
in her
paintings. Tara feels her work
should be "felt as well as seen"
and has
always strived to learn and
implement traditional painting
techniques
in her work by utilizing her
talents, training and knowledge
of art
history (a graduate of OTIS
SCHOOL OF FINE ARTS)
The Arts have always been a
creative outlet for her
imagination, as
well as a strict discipline that
encapsulates form and function
to
create and develop visual art in
everyday life. A heavy influence
on
her work is 'The Symbolist
Movement' of the late 19th
century as well
as the techniques of the
traditional Icon painters.
Always working in a creative
atmosphere, some of her credits
