A North Hollywood native Rony
Armas has been a photographer
for 12 years, he began with an
interest in documenting the
world around him and soon
discovered through the influence
of many wonderful people that
his interest could be furthered
as an artistic medium. The need
to tell a story or evoke a
feeling has been the driving
force behind his work, and is
demonstrated in the diversity of
his work from fashion to music
to fine art photography. He is
inspired by collaborations and
admires other artists and their
art forms and very much wishes
he had their talents.
Rony feels that communication is
the ultimate common denominator
in art and he has expanded into
videography, graphic design and
graphic art as additional
mediums to better relate any
given message. He is currently
Co-Owner and Art Director for
Lunaset Studio and Design a full
service multimedia company that
has served many local business
ventures, community projects,
educational institutions, and
other artists. Most recently
NoHo Scene, WorldStars.tv,
Elevate Hope Foundation,
Escovedo Enterprises and many
others.
The community he lives in, is
home, and he has taken a very
proactive part in trying to
better his town, and through
community volunteering spread
the word that collaboration as
an art form is fundamental to a
society’s healthy growth. Rony
currently sits on the board of
the Mid-Town North Hollywood
Neighborhood Council, is Vice
President of Community
Development for the UCNH Jaycees
and is a member of the Universal
City North Hollywood Chamber of
Commerce. His most immediate
goal is to continue to be part
of greater collaborations and to
expand his reach utilizing his
skills and company to inform the
masses about the importance of
protecting our world.
