Fred Andrews, an
award winning production
designer for film and
television, as well as being a
commercial and fine
artist, studied classically on
the east coast at
Parsons
School of Design
NY. After
cutting his teeth doing
instillation's and designing
performance spaces, he traveled
west in 1990 and has since had a
very diverse career applying
his many talents to special
effects makeup,
video
games,
comic
books, film, television
and music videos. He is
currently the production
designer for "Without A
Trace" a Bruckhiemer Television
production on CBS. Other
television works Mr. Andrews has
designed are "CSI
Miami" also for
Bruckhiemer Television and
"Small Shots" for Viacom
Television. Fred's film career
has run the genre gamut from
romantic comedies to action
films, and far, far too
many horror films.( Most
recently "Dark Ride" for Lions
Gate Films.)
As a fine artist
Mr. Andrews has exhibited in
the Los
Angeles Art Walk, The Far
Bizarre, and The Alwin House.
Fred's art has been described
as "dark", "disturbing",
"macabre", and "haunting
beautiful".
